Carte Blanche - Julie Roué
GUEST
Julie Roué is a multifaceted composer. She plays the piano, the guitar, the Irish bagpipes and the Indian tablas, but her favorite instrument is the voice. Trained as a sound engineer, she experimented in the field of radio with the webradio lefrigo.fr (Julie wants Love, Le Bruit des Photons), in the field of music and sound design for web videos with the collective Tympanistan, and in the field of cinema as a sound editor and composer. After more than thirty short films and documentary, she composed the music for her first long feature film, "Jeune femme (Montparnasse Bienvenüe)", by Léonor Serraille, which won the Golden Camera at Cannes Film Festival.
Beside her music for films, she is developping two musical projects. About Luke, a solo album combining pop songs and minimal electro arrangements, and Carte Contact, a band under the influence of french pop of the 80s and electropunk.
